HMD Global has been on a roll with its Android Oreo updates lately, pushing Android to a number of of its Nokia-branded smartphones, and HMD’s streak continues as of late with some other Oreo update.

HMD is now pushing Android 8.1 to the Nokia 8. The update is rolling out over the air, and a few Nokia 8 homeowners have already won their update.

Here’s the changelog integrated with the Nokia 8 Android 8.1 update:

  • Battery Saving Navigation Buttons
  • Revamped Power Menu
  • New Setting Menu
  • Bluetooth Battery Percentage
  • Update Google Security Patch 2018-02

It’s nice to peer Android 8.1 beginning to make its strategy to the Nokia 8, particularly as a result of we haven’t noticed Android 8.1 on many non-Nexus and non-Pixel telephones. Heck, some OEMs haven’t even released Android for their flagship telephones but. So when you’ve were given a Nokia 8, be on the lookout for your Android 8.1 update after which be excited that you simply’re a part of a small staff working the newest and largest model of Android.
